About Longwatch

Longwatch is an experimental managed monitoring service. It periodically checks supported public web pages, RSS feeds, crypto prices, SEC filings, and x402 payment endpoints, then stores structured events retrievable after a caller's saved cursor.

Longwatch is operated by CoinOp. The service works through REST and MCP without a Longwatch account or API key. Paid calls require a compatible x402 client and funded wallet.

The implementation is operational, but Longwatch has not established repeat external demand or a defensible advantage over monitoring infrastructure that technical users can operate themselves.

How the service is published

The REST contract, MCP server metadata, agent cards, pricing, and x402 payment requirements are publicly readable. Start at the developer portal or inspect the OpenAPI document.

Ownership and public specifications

The public integration contract, discovery manifests, documentation, and examples are maintained in the Longwatch repository on GitHub. The production implementation is maintained privately by CoinOp. Questions and responsible disclosure can be sent to contact@coinop.dev.
